Hello,
First time user of Drupal and looking forward to working with it (and here's the) but, I keep getting this when I try to login:
""Unable to connect to database server
This either means that the username and password information in your settings.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the MySQL database server. This could mean your hosting provider's database server is down.
The MySQL error was: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (46).
Currently, the username is (username) and the database server is localhost.""
I believe that I've configured the setting.php file correctly due to the real user name appearing where it should above. I also have access to the phpMyAdmin section within the site and have seen that drupal database lines are there (three times under different names since I've been trying to attack this problem different ways).
I'm trying to get this to work on a Yahoo small business website.
Thanks in advance!!!!!

Verify Location of MySQL Server
I'd suggest verifying that your MySQL server really is on localhost. It's been my experience that larger web hosts often run their database servers on separate machines. Your hosting control panel would be the place to look for this info.
Best of luck.
