Enabling OG Comments disabled commenting on other node types

My site is highly dependent stories, and we've added in OG to provide more social networking to our readers.

If I enable OG Comments, it forces those rules across the board. Readers can no longer comment on stories and videos (which aren't group content types) because they get the error that they must be a member of this group in order to comment.

I did notice in the readme that you state you haven't tried this with an approval queue. My site does not allow live time commenting. All comments must be approved before going up, so perhaps that's the issue.
