Not sure if this is the right forum to post in, but I thought people might be interested in this. I started a new video podcast on getting started with Drupal. It's very much inspired by the nice Lullabot ones, and it's target audience is for people who are thinking about using Drupal, and just want to see how to get started visually.
It assumes that you have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and scripting concepts, and the goal is to get the viewer to the point where they have seen how to install Drupal, add content, administer some functions, add some modules, add and change themes, and begin to customize a theme at the PHP and CSS level. Hopes are that after viewing all the videos, the viewer can then understand what kinds of questions to ask, and where to look for more information (on this site).
Here's a link to the feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/Dudertown-DrupalClass and a link to where the video cast will be hosted: http://dudertown.com/taxonomy/term/2
Comments, suggestions, etc welcome! Just keep in mind the focus of this series is for a very general audience.
p.s. check out the rest of the site if you get the chance, and our silly, nerdy "dudecast"
