I have installed Shazamgallery, and am using image_import for bulk picture imports.

Even though the image import function has an option under Gallery Settings to import into a specified gallery, this does not happen, even after I publish the imported files. I have to manually link each import to the specified gallery.

Any ideas why this doesn't work?

I had the same problem and needed to get it working quickly. Added a few lines to image_import and got lucky - it worked! :-) No guarantees though...
