In my website i have more than 30 books with approx 6000 book pages (NODE). And i have used extensively book navigation in website. Now i want to give diff look of those book pages using Panel or Mini Panel with different other information and some ads. So i need a views or something that while using panels i can use column with books pages and others column (panel if with 3 column) some thing other be it ads or others links.

Ho w do i go ahead, will this can be achieve using panels and views, if yes how to use or create views with book pages and the same view can be fit in panels

With Views, you can create a list of book pages. The list can be limited to nodes of a certain book depth (or level in the book hierarchy), and quite a few other criteria, such as taxonomy terms.

Also, the list can be "implemented" as a block, which you can display in a region such as a column on the left or right - also called a sidebar - depending on whether the theme you are using has the region (most themes seem to have side columns or sidebars).

So, it seems you might do this without panels just using views.

I would check for videos or tutorials on using views. I believe I learned from some, but I don't recall just where - however, a search engine should turn them up.

How did you create your books and navigation? Did you use Panels? I have a number of books with many pages and I'm trying to find a solution similiar to the Adobe RoboHelp software.
