I enabled captcha images on login forms on my localhost site and couldn't get back into my site! It kept telling me that I typed the wrong letters. I had to delete the captcha module folder to get back in. I guess I'll go with Mollom or some other service unless anyone has a suggestion for getting this module to work. I had Mollom and logintobbagan installed at the same time, so maybe there was some kind of conflict with those and the captcha module

Does the math CAPTCHA work?

On the CAPTCHA admin page you also have the option 'Log wrong responses'. Can you enable this options and check in the log what answers are logged if you try to login (e.g. with another browser, so you don't have to lock yourself out)?

Thanks for the reply. I'll try that at some point, but right now I have to put it on the back burner for more pressing things. I didn't check the math version because I have no interest in using that test. I have no idea why that was even invented, making people perform a captcha is bad enough .... I'm sorry, but asking users to do math, now that's super annoying.
