I have content type story set with the default workflow not to publish, and to instead go into moderation queue.

I have a role defined for lower level users, without any admin permissions, but they can create stories, and edit own stories

the problem is once they submit the story they can't edit it until it's published, which doesn't make sense, the admin may check it out and tell them to make some changes before publishing it to the world, BUT they can't!

any help with this will be greatly appreciated!
