Multilingual site profile directions

I've searched the issues queue and I've been unable to find some basic steps for getting this module working on a multilingual site.

Questions:

• if I want to use content profile is it possible for a user to have a single (eg. language neutral) profile node that won't need to be translated into the different site languages?
• if someone is viewing a profile and clicks the language switch button, is it possible to have the content profile field titles change to reflect the current language?

Lastly, I'm confused about how to set up the content profile content type to achieve the above - do I need to disable translation? or enable it then use rules to switch it always to language neutral?
