I would like to have a global duration setting for altering the length of visibility that a drupal_set_message is shown. It doesn't have to be per $type, although that would be cool. Just one page where the admin can set the time-to-expiry in whole seconds.

I was using better_messages before.
And then I found out about jGrowl, but IMO this looks better than jGrowl. I like the icon touch.

However, I would love to have the feature better_messages had. Something like automatic message dissapearance after configurable seconds. And the message would stay if it is an error message.
