I am brand new to Drupal module development. Have had some luck working with CCK, and have thorugh knowledge of HTML, CSS, javascript, and MS.NET, classic asp, ColdFusion, and know T-SQL well. I have been trying to follow tutorials and stuff where I can find them, but ineveitably I get stuck somewhere and I have questions, or something doesnt work.

My main goal is to devise customized data forms. My current objective is to quickly write a custom ordering module, with form and interaction with Quickbooks Merchant services credit card authorization. (Dont need shopping cart - just simple custom ordering form). I think I am very capable. I just need a shove in the right direction, and a responsive voice when I fall down. Very responsive email or phone is fine.

I don't have a load of money, but I do have some. I have very little time to get up to speed so I need someone soon. (Tomorrow would be good). Please let me know.

I would say utilize Ubercart, then utilize Services to push the data to QB in a format QB is expecting. We do that with Great Plains.

Thanks for the point in a direction that might work, but I don't just want to utilize someone elses solution. I need to learn to write my own modules.
