add ability to choose forum vocabulary from taxonomy vocabularies list.
e.g. Select box with taxonomy vocabularies list on forum settings page.

Is this really relevant any more? People can rename the forums, put forums into different vocabularies etc. Can we mark this fixed/won't fix and get it out of the issue queue?

People can (...) put forums into different vocabularies

Does this mean that -with Drupal 7.x- forums will be able to use any vocabulary instead of the default forum vocabulary (which is feature limited compared to other vocabularies)? I cannot find any info on this new feature for D7.
