Update Item URL on HTTP redirects

Currently, the page url used as the base URL for converting relative URLs of images into absolute URLs comes from the Feeds Node Processor. Usually, these URLs are not the original URLs and redirect to some other page (eg. feedburner, etc). In such cases, we must update the page URL, to convert the relative URLs of images present on the page, which is right now not possible.
