If you would like visual presentations of traffic on your Drupal site, read this

We, at Gurux Ltd, a Finnish Open Source software company, have been using a Drupal based web site for quite a while now. We're very pleased with the structure, looks, and versatile possibilities that Drupal offers. All the modules that we have downloaded and added to our site are great. Thank you all!

We have been looking forward to finding a way to contribute to Drupal.org, so, please, do not consider this as "just another advertisement". Since we do not have the resoucres to make the contribution as a Drupal module, this message is our way to let you know about our application, which is usable to anyone who wants to utilize his/her own Drupal statistics. Our application is Open Source, under a GPL2 license.

This project started, when planning a solution for our own company needs, but as we developed it further, it started to seem that others also could benefit from it. One of the reasons for us, to choose Drupal, was the clear statistics. As the statistics are widely used in our company, for different purposes, we decided to code an application to visualize the information that is available in the statistics of our Drupal (version 6) site. From this idea, among others, the GXDataRefinery was born.

Our application collects the amounts of traffic at our site, directly from our Drupal stats. As you know, in Drupal stats, the traffic is sorted according to the status of the visitor; administrator, registered user, or an unknown user. The status of a visitor is represented by a certain color (red = admin, green = registered, and blue = unknown), and the traffic is then presented with curves. We find the visualized data faster to read, and to interpret with one glimps, and hope you will find this useful, too.

Some modules that we checked for the job, need more or less configuring. Our application is To find out more about the application, kindly read the product introduction at our website http://www.gurux.org/index.php?q=GXDataRefinery
