(sorry, just asked similar question on main forum, but perhaps this is better place to ask)

I would like members to lose userpoints every time they download a node attachment (pdf, doc, ppt, etc)

I imagine this functionality doesn't already exist...can it be done easily, maybe with rules/actions help?

If not, I think I will pay someone to write me a mini-module to allow this.

No such functionality exists at present.

But yes, a module can be written to do that.

could you contact me, letting me know if you would be available to create a module to do this. I would prefer it to be a standalone, perhaps as a sub-module to userpoints, as opposed to hacking the userpoints module itself, so that there won't be problems in the future with upgrades, etc. Thanks.
