This is a great module. I don't understand why Views doesn't include this kind of functionality ex. Show 10/20/50/all(?)

I've loaded the 6.x version (Views 2.x), but neither the pager nor the preference shows. It just shows "all". Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I have a second question. Depending on which site I'm working with views are sometimes laid out in grids of 3xN or 4xN, not 5XN. So I need for example "Show 16/24/36". Is there a spot in the module where I can make this change?
