When you are moderating suggestions as an admin, you sometimes find needs of correction on suggestions. There are typos and mis-interpretations of the original strings.
In these cases, currently you submit a translation suggestion, and wait till another admin approves it. But there are also cases that people are just busy and other admins cannot find time to access l.d.o. and moderate suggestions.
I think we can solve this issue if we allow admins (or some admins) to commit their translations, bypassing the moderation queue. I suspect that admins are aware of their responsibility, so giving this power isn't a problem.
Any thoughts?

gábor hojtsyThis is absolutely in the realm of your group. I've even sent around an email to all group admins to consider granting the self-moderation and others-moderation roles both at the same time by default. The separation of these roles was ignited by needs/suggestions from the German team, but not all teams need this, so its configurable on the per-user level in each team. See http://localize.drupal.org/node/616
Summary: this is already absolutely possible, you just need to configure it yourself as you want :)

Thank you very much for your quick response. I didn't know that we admins can choose from self-moderation role and others-moderation role. That's good to know.
But now I cannot access the role configuration page of my group, as reported at http://drupal.org/node/745108 . I'll wait till someone figure out the cause of this problem.
