I added in the block configuration panel a way to select which data you want the links block to display: files and/or node links.

This module, by the way, has been very useful to me ;)

This looks great- I've just re-rolled this patch and committed onto the DRUPAL-6--1 branch. Tested working for me, but if someone would test and doublecheck, I'd be much obliged :)

This works for me, and I haven't heard any other feedback, so I'm assuming it's ok. Preparing to roll a final 6.x release and then update everything to 7.x
