I currently use books to create an easily-followed navigation path. This works great when there are just a few child pages. However, in some areas, the site includes dozens of child pages, creating an extremely long menu, once each sub-menu is expanded. The question: what's the best way to create smaller, more easily digested book-based menus? (I've tried the category module and it currently is way too complex an undertaking.)
I need one main menu, that branches to a sub-menu which appears on an inner page. That sub-menu has several deeper menus, each holding dozens of individual pages. What's a better way to organize all this? For an idea of the navigation scheme I need, check out the site at Trumansburg News. Thanks.
