I've given up on Table Wizard and am back to trying Node Import (dev version uploaded today, March 20th). As with the official release, I can't get past Step 7. This time the error is on line 668:

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in [....]/dev/sites/all/modules/node_import/node_import.inc on line 668.

Anyone know how to fix this? I've been trying to upload this data for two weeks, and with all the time I've wasted trying to get it to work, I could've manually entered half the records by now.

What version of php are you using? Googling that error seems to indicate it's a php problem.

Oo, you had better luck than I did with google. I'm on Dreamhost, so, php5. Can't find anything more specific than that. Too new, or not new enough?
