points to the control panel of IDEAL by RAbobank. If you are 'in', there is technical documentation available, I do not have an account. Could someone please provide me this documentation AND PHP programming example(s) on IDEAL professional and IDEAL lite?

I just told a big site in the .nl that is going to switch to drupal about the lack of ideal payment. this would be great and some love will get back to you if you make this....

For Bert or anyone interested:

I also want to have a very simple payment module "Rembours", this has just to add a fixed fee for rembourse processing to the purchase amount. The only configurable parameter would be this fixed fee. Can you make this Bert? I'm gonna provide Ideal Lite functionality then.

I'm freezing my plans for IDEAL development for now. 2 days of testriving e-commerce reveals 2 problems I cannot resolve:

1: Categorising products with subproducts results in having every possible combination displaying as separate product in its category (both using taxonomy and category.module)
2: Products with subproducts do not handle well in 'add to cart', you must use a button, in normal products you must use a link. Very ugly and unhandy if using both in one store.

Please reply if someone has a solution for one of these 2 isues

Working on it right now: no, but still willing to.

Now planning for developing a payment solution using the Buckaroo PSP gateway, including IDEAL as well. I have not decided to use "e-commerce" or the rising star "Ubercart". e-commerce is a far more flexible solution with more options, I do like the relatively good user-friendlyness and usability of ubercart.

There's also the option of using a payment service provider (e.g. Ogone, http://www.ogone.nl) that offers iDeal payments.

Yes, there is progress

I chose Ubercart over e-commerce
I followed fschaaps recomendation and made a payment module for Ogone PSP for Ubercart, Ideal is available there too.

Interesting topic. I've opened a discussion (in Dutch) at the Netherlands group about Payment (Service Provider) gateway (API) modules for the Dutch country. I didn't know about this post and progress when I posted it.

I have iDeal ING/Postbank Advanced working on Ubercart. Before Ubercart is a stable realease, this module is not going public. For now I'm not interested in e-commerce payment.
Developers can contact me to join forces on this.

I have sponsored the development of an iDEAL gateway for Drupal 5 Ecommerce 3.4. It works allright. If anyone is interested? In return I very much, desperately desperately need assistance getting the ec-Useraccount module to work since I want to setup the selling of membership and the support from the e-commerce communicty doesnt seem to exist at all.

Did you publish the iDeal module for E-commerce as a project? If not, please do, so we can help development. Did you file specific issues of the ec-Useraccount module?
