Editing nodereference field from the target node

I'm looking for a way to be able to edit a nodereference field from a target node. After going through all the posts I didn't find anything about it. Now I'm wondering if I'm the first one who is interested in this feature (I really need it and I plan to implement something similar to meet my needs). But if anybody already thought about it, I would really like to hear from them (ideas, suggestions).

Example : I have Node A that has a nodereference field that links to Node B. And I'd like to be able to edit this link from the Node B edit page.
