Actually, I'm having the same problem with english. If I move the tiny_mce_gzip.php file as directed to in the INSTALL.txt, the Tiny_mce editor no longer appears on any textareas. There is no error in the apache log or drupal watchdog.

Without changing anything, if I move the file out of the modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce directory, and then refresh a create content page, the WYSIWYG editor returns.

Anyone have any insight?
