German cultural information and social network site launches

The Information 24x7 has launched today.
It combines:
- aggregator
- bookmarks2
- buddylist
- gmap
- gmap_location
- guestbook
- privatemsg
- profile
- profile_visit
- userpoints
to build a well working cultural social network.
For site optimization reasons the modules:
- adsense
- gsitemap
- image
- nodewords
- robotstxt
are installed, too.
I thought about using:
- chat
- foaf
- og
- and some others
but currently it makes no sense or the modules are not yet 4.7.x ready.

Excellent functionality but I think you should maybe reconsider the design/colourscheme abit.
Im hinting at the header of your site, it seems (to me) abit too thin when compared to the bulkyness of the left hand blocks.
I also think the colourscheme needs some help (sorry!) - purple, blue in top bar, dark red, orange in the menu, and light grey in the left hand side. I would suggest redoing the top bar to use the red/orange colours you use in your menu, or the other way around - adding some (logo) image to give your site a unique identity would also help tremendously I think, '24x7' and 'Information' shouldnt be too hard to relate to - a clock and a network cable or something along those lines :)
I dont mean to sound condescending or anything, its constructive criticism and reflects my personal opinion and nothing else.
