I've been trying to see if there is a way to get tagadelic to work with Category, but (since I'm not that high-powered on the php front) I've had no luck.
Can anyone:
1. Confirm whether Tagedelic works with Category?
2. If the answer to 1. is 'no', can we see if there is a way to make these two work together?
Thanks

venkat-rk commentedgmak, exactly where did you face a problem?
gmak commentedWith Category module installed, I can't get any of the tagadelic functions to work. There is nothing rendered in any tagadelic block. There are no errors reported.
This is the case whether working with a newly created site or on a site where taxonomy has been converted to Category.
I'm assuming this is wrapper module problem, since tagadelic works fine on a site using drupal's core taxonomy module.
Thanks

gmak commentedI've found this Tag Cloud code/module which does work with the Category Module, but it is very simple and has none of the fine-ness that Tagadelic has. I've looked at the code, but I can't (again, I'm not that high on the PHP food chain) see how one might point me to a solution to the other.
Could someone see if there is a trick in the Tag Cloud (term_popular) code that might point the way forward to Category support in Tagadelic (or vice versa)?
Thanks

venkat-rk commentedI just wanted to confirm that category module has a problem working with tagadelic. Basically, nothing happens even when the block is enabled. And the domain.com/tags page gives a 404.
I only tested this for a container using free tagging, but I have no reason to believe it will work with regular categories either.
Changing status to bug report.

venkat-rk commentedChanging title too.

Dabitch commentedTagadelic and Category still won't play nice (in 4.7) - I see the white page and no errors reported as well. The only reason I want to enable Tagadelic is to use community_tags which requires Tagadelic.
