Looking for Developer to create paid business listing subscriptions
We are looking for a basic directory hierarchy where users can navigate through the categories to see business listings of a certain category.
The tricky part is that we want paid subscriptions.
I envision having a custom node or flexinode type called business listing.
Upon submission of the node you are taken to your "paid subscriptions" section where you manage your subscriptions. There you can pay a fee to have it published.
When you stop paying the cron will catch it and hide all of the business listings you posted. The user would have the option to do recurring billing or to manually pay or prepay even the subscription.
The final thing I'd like is a featured business listing that gives the user more options and costs more. Featured listings will show up first and will show in a "featured listing" block and have a few more fields, like additional images.
I'd like this to work with authorize.net or paypal.
Is this possible. Anyone out there interested?
Sounds like a great module
I see this was bumped back up from July... Did you ever find someone to do it? Would you consider contributing the module back to the community? I can see this being really useful on community portal sites.

I worked on role_subscription for a long while and that's gone pretty well but then i found that ubercart now supports arb which makes me think i need to put my efforts into that solution instead of a 1-off deal which I was doing before. So right now I have a couple sites going live soon with the ubercart solution and I'm going to see how that goes.
