yes, but it is still in -dev; I'd wait until we have a gold version before upgrading from Poormanscron

when do you think, will it be ready?
tnx :)

Pretty soon; we are at DrupalCon right now and here's what we are working on between events:

1. We have refactored the entire 2.0 code in a format that will (hopefully) allow us to maintain both D6 and D7 versions with the same codebase. This will make it easier for everyone to move to a stronger D7 cron backend.
2. We have learned about the evolving import/export standard allowing for easier deployment from staging servers to deployment servers, so we want to build that in
3. We've optimized the code even more than we did with the first port.

There's still some work ahead, but I can see an imminent end to this development cycle.

thanks for the update and your efforts!

hello,
may you tell me what is the state of supercron now? Is it safe to use on productions sites or will it be safe soon?

The 1.x branch is safe for production; 2.x is still being worked on and should not be used in prod.

Any updates on how soon 2.x will be recommended for production sites?

Thanks
Mike
