Come together with the global Drupal community in Rotterdam, 28 Sept – 1 Oct 2026. Sessions, contribution, connection, and Early Bird savings until 8 June.
Pretty soon; we are at DrupalCon right now and here's what we are working on between events:
1. We have refactored the entire 2.0 code in a format that will (hopefully) allow us to maintain both D6 and D7 versions with the same codebase. This will make it easier for everyone to move to a stronger D7 cron backend.
2. We have learned about the evolving import/export standard allowing for easier deployment from staging servers to deployment servers, so we want to build that in
3. We've optimized the code even more than we did with the first port.
There's still some work ahead, but I can see an imminent end to this development cycle.

MisterSpeed commentedyes, but it is still in -dev; I'd wait until we have a gold version before upgrading from Poormanscron

stefan81 commentedthanks for the update and your efforts!
jean84 commentedhello,
may you tell me what is the state of supercron now? Is it safe to use on productions sites or will it be safe soon?
MisterSpeed commentedThe 1.x branch is safe for production; 2.x is still being worked on and should not be used in prod.
BigMike commentedAny updates on how soon 2.x will be recommended for production sites?
Thanks
Mike
