Can you add a feature so the weather be automatically be set to the person's city/state or zipcode from the profile?

How about if you get extended forecast, a way for someone to just check up on weather in other places without losing his/her current weather from the blocks.

This feature won't be added in the near future due to the way that the weather block is cached. A server under moderate to heavy load would undergo too much stress having to fetch weather details for several users, therefore this is an impractical feature request -- at this time.

However, if someone can suggest an economical way of doing this, I'd be happy to hear their suggestions and implement the feature.

Instead of making it server side, would there be a way to make it a user side script where the processing of the information is done by the User's machine (Like a Javascript or Flash file)?

it also faces the problem that weatherroom only knows us zip-codes. international users would get no or wrong weather
