I have made a content type with workflow states, in which it is important that with some transitions automatically an email is sent to the whole group.

Could you add this action to OG_actions?

Hi JP-

This is a good idea. A couple of questions:

1. Any thoughts on whether this should use a solution like Og2List, or just run the drupal mailer on all the people in the group.

2. Do you want to specify a reply to address? or should it just be the site email? Perhaps the user who triggered the workflow change?

3. Any special data you want available?

I wrote a "send email to role" action a while ago, and I suspect I can just borrow that code for most of the work.

Great idea. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I wasn't aware that anyone was using the module. ;-)

I'll set myself up to get emails now...

and change the mysql selects to use the users where they join in the og_group instead of users_roles?
