For at least one author in my database of biblio nodes shows up last name first on 1/2 of the nodes and first name first on the other 1/2 of the nodes... What is going on? How can I fix this?

That is truly mysterious. My only guess is that you have two authors entered in your data base with the same name but reversed order. What I would do is this... on a listing that has last name first, hover over the author name and see what the author "cid" is (the link on the author name should be something like /biblio/author/xxx, where xxx= some integer value). Now check one of the listing where the name is reversed and see if its the same integer value. If they differ, then go the the /biblio/authors page and click the [edit] link next the one of the author names in question and fix the ordering. Now you will have two entries in the author database with the same name, so you can again edit either one and use the "Merge" function to create one author from the two.

The author id (cid) is the same in both cases...

Are the publication types the same?

What "Style" are you using (MLA, AMA...)?

APA for everything

The only other thing I can think of is if some of the authors are defined as "Authors" and some are defined as "Editors" or "Corporate Authors". They would show up in different "Contributor" entry fieldsets on the node edit page. There can be up to 5 different fieldsets for entering contributors on the input form.

Is there a URL where I can see what's going on?
