Hi,

I am trying to use Drupal to create a site and I want to have full control over homepage content.
I have installed TinyMCE and created a block visible only on <front> page but I still see this:

Please follow these steps to set up and start using your website:

Create your administrator account
To begin, create the first account. This account will have full administration rights and will allow you to configure your website.

How can I remove this text ?

Descriptive topic titles for the win.

Anyway, make sure you have a user with UID1, which would be the admin. After that, write a page that is published to the front page. Should work.

I used the "publish on the homepage" feature, thank you.

To change the Drupal message on the homepage you need to create your first story/blog post/whatever and the message will be replaced with this first post.

Drupal 4.7:

1. Go to: create content > story [or blog entry etc.] >
2. write the article
3. (at bottom of page) select "Publishing Options" and checkmark "Publish" and "Promoted to front page"
