Am I just a complete rookie or does this "devel_generate" module not exist? I'm trying to install the newest version of path-redirect but I need "devel_generate" yet I cannot find it anywhere.

Devel_generate is a sub module of the Devel Module. I'm confused though, because path_redirect does not have any dependencies on the Devel module. Can you provide more information?

Path redirect generate 6.x-1.0-beta6 Bulk create redirects for testing.
Depends on: Path redirect (disabled), Devel_generate (missing)

That's a copy from my modules page. The OP must be referring to Path redirect generate. Possibly he is confused since the actual Path Redirect Module should be listed under "Other" on the module page.

Path redirect 6.x-1.0-beta6 Redirect users from one URL to another.
Required by: Path redirect generate (disabled)

Same issue here. This is what is on my modules page:

figured it out:
Just download the Devel module.
It's in there :D

Once the "Devel Generate" module is enabled I found the menu in:

Configuration->Development->Generate Redirects.
