Both freshly installed and independently working with no problem.

+ You need to fix the above errors before Gallery2 will be embedded in Drupal.
* The configuration options have been saved.

I have followed advise on resolution of the very same problem already posted, but with no success. I have tried the updated version of the G2EmbedTestUtilities.class, unfortunatelly with no succes. There seems to be some problem with the directory settings. I can PM links and passwords upon request.

Me Too. I have tried the resolutions referenced here. All I get is errors on the Drupal side, when testing or even trying to save the changes. And the long, original, drupal links:

If I click on Site Admin, in Drupal gallery, click on URL Rewrite, click on the 'Setup' tab, and try to put anything in the htaccess area; I get this error:
An error occured while trying to save your settings
Empty configuration value.

And nothing gets written to it. This has not been a fun day spent on this.

Original post - needed to not use autoconfig (it will not work in all host situations -- that's why manual config is also present).

#1 - this issue is now fixed.
