I'm looking for developers to help me build a website that allows registered users to add content to Google Earth via a Drupal powered website.
Users should be able to easily geotag any content type using Google Earth in combination with the website, similar to how users can geotag photos inside the new Picasa beta (see link).
In addition, the website should be able to automatically generate a kml file of all the geotagged content and provide it to the user via a downloadable Google Earth Network Link.
I have reserved the domain name lebanon3d.org for this project.
This effort is to help the victims in the current humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. The project is strictly a humanitarian effort only and will not allow any political discussions. A similar effort can be found here. However, using the collaborative power of Drupal, and the ability to add comments and pictures to any content can make a huge difference in providing up-to-date information about any location.
