Request that user badges allow admin set configure whether badge changes as user status changes

One minor comment: I just noticed on a phpbb forum that as you advance from beginner to expert the badge on all your posts change. To me, this was counterintuitive in that a post written by a beginner could be completely wrong, and to have the expert badge next to it would lend it false credibility.
If this could be an option set by the admin, that would be preferable
(keep posts with badge status at time of posting, or put current badge status next to post)
Also requesting integration with userpoints or something like that. Right now userpoints is buggy. (Karma module only deals with comment moderation and is not karma in the sense usually meant.)

With the user badges linked to the user not the comment/post/whatever, there's no easy way to make this change. It would require enormous structural changes.
Userpoints integration has moved on since this issue.
