Hello,

Im trying to create map where i have different content markers that is depending on term.

I know that i can create map with views with diferent markers by content type but i cant find to solution for my problem.

Is there way how can i do it? I was looking for this problem in issues for relative long time but i had not find it. I expect this issue because i thing it is really common problem.

Required steps:

  • enable the GMaps Terms module
  • enable the marker options feature for a vocabulary
  • associate icons with terms in that vocabulary
  • add the relationship "Related terms" to your content view
  • add the view field "Icon options" from the group "Term marker option" to the view

I was trying this steps before and I cant success. Its because it is really necessery to set relationship then set term marker option.

Thank you

Hi

I can't get this to work. I have configured the view as above.
However, my markers are only displayed in the top left corner after the change.

On my case the problem was that I used the wrong relationship (because there is two relationships named "Taxonomy: Related terms"). Using the second (i.e. "Relate nodes to taxonomy terms, specifiying which vocabulary or vocabularies to use. This relationship will cause duplicated records if there are multiple terms.") all works well!
Thanks a lot to xmarket for the suggestions!
