When ads are displayed on pages with access restrictions, "Access Denied" alerts are reported in dblog, presumably because the Google AdSense bot doesn't have the proper permissions to access the page. The user is still able to access the page and the ads still display, so the problem appears to be more of a nuisance than anything else, but I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to prevent the messages from displaying in dblog, or if there is something I need to set to allow Google access.

I have noticed this as well with other advertising agencies, so not only Google Adsense. They simply try to get access to the page where the ad was displayed in order to index it so they can run contextual ads. I'm afraid I don't have any solution for it.

Must get help from Google. Nothing we can do here.

With Adsense, we can give access for adsense bot:
- If the restriction area is dependant on path, check this https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=10532
- If it is restricted by password, check this https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=37081
