with Version 4.6 there was a security module that you could install to check your drupal installation for security issues. Is there such a module for 4.7? I don't see one avaialble on the module download page. Is this going to be available for 4.7 or is there another way to check the security of your site?

The System Info module (http://drupal.org/project/systeminfo) seems to do a similar job from what you describe, although it only displays you server & drupal settings, rather than evaluate if they are secure.

Having only started to use drupal during 4.7's beta stage, I did'nt really give 4.6.x much of ago, so never got round to using that module. Sounds like a good idea, perhaps the extra features/checks could be added to the System Info module? Or even just recommended/supported values.

It may be worth making a 'feature request' in the modules issue tracker, if ones not already their...
