When using the 'Advanced Profile' module, and going to the profile-edit page, the themes are not selectable with a sidebar on the page, as the selection-button is not displayed. Can someone suggest how I can set-up this theme (and others) so that the selection of various themes for the users on the user-profile-edit page can be selected ?

ANY help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Unfortunately I don't have experience with this or a suggestion. It sounds like it's happening with multiple themes so you might have luck asking in the module's issue queue. Otherwise some more information would be necessary to have more information.
