Hey everyone,

I'm having an issue getting my Dash Media Player to play any kind of media, whether it be video, embedded video, or even just audio. I've gotten the Dash Media Player to show up on my pages, however the loading icon just keeps spinning and never actually loads anything. However, if I just got to my Audio or Video pages with uploaded content and click the link to the file, it will open a new window and play the file. Since it does this, I know that Drupal is able to read my uploaded files and play them back, but something is messing up in playing those files in Dash Media player.

I followed the video instructions exactly as he showed it, but I did notice that in his videos he was using older versions of the modules and Drupal. I have all the up-to-date modules so did any of the instructions change to accommodate those updates? Or is there certain code that I need to add to certain files in my root directory? Please help me out so I can get this all working. Thanks.

Can you send me a link to the player and I'll take a look.

Was there anything else you changed to. I uninstalled the services 6.x-02 version and installed the 6.x-0.15. My video is still not playing. I'm getting a blank player. I appears that it can't find the video that i uploaded.

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide

This is addressed in http://drupal.org/node/800512

Have you looked there to see if my suggestions fix your issue?

I got this to work by using all the old module versions that Travis worked with on his video. Works pretty good. I had to do all of this on another server. This works out fine for my home video player project.
