Hi everyone,

The webpage www.popularparanoia.com is up, content is up on the page, I have clean url's turned on, but are search engines able to properly see the content for indexing ?

I note I still have 0 page ranking on google, and Im not sure if that is due to dynamic content or not.

Is there any way to have everything "seen" better so I get ranked ?

thanks

sean

This is a question that I've been wondering about too. I converted one site over to Drupal and haven't seen any of the content on Google. I similarly have clean URLs turned on and also added a "index, follow" robot meta tag to my theme's HTML header.

I did a Google search and your site is listed.

As for page rank, it's my understanding that a lot of what Google bases it's ranking on is sites that link to yours.

Consider listing your site with as many search engines and directories as possible. And it's best to go to those sites and add your site yourself.

Although my experience is not with a Drupal-based site (yet), I have found it takes exceedingly long for a "regular" site to get listed over a blog. So, consider blogging often on your site, if you don't already do so, and ping your site often (Ping-o-matic) for the blog community to be aware of your new content. And, take the steps necessary to claim your blog on Technorati. Then, consider joining blogrolls and blogging networks appropriate to your site.

Sometimes a backdoor or a sidedoor is just as good, for it's a door. :)

Hope this helps.

...you definitely don't want static content, and you should get as involved with the net as you can. I wrote an article which may give you some ideas....
