Blogentry through blogapi does not set category info

I use w.bloggar ( a seperate windows client ) to remotely enter blog entries in Drupal. This worked perfectly in Drupal 4.6. Since then I upgraded to 4.7.2. I use Drupal with the category module.

The categories are shown in w.bloggar, after creating a blog entry the selected category is not shown in Drupal.

When I assign a category to a blog entry in Drupal and select the blog entry in w.bloggar for further modification the category is shown.

It looks as though the category data is not moved correctly to Drupal when creating a blog entry using w.bloggar.
