dawehnerIsn't the new "update and override" button a solution for this?
michelleAs discussed on IRC, nope, that won't do it. :)

neoglez commentedFirst i would like to say that the fact that when a filter is updated all others are too is not very intuitive, specially becouse of the location of the override button: I agree with
also the current "Update and override" & "Update default display" buttons don't solve the problem.
On the other hand i consider the issue is closed becouse it works as designed for the dev (could be a feature request):

michelleAfter discussion on #drupal-views, this should still be active. It's a confusing UI and there is still a chance it could get fixed before 2.x is deprecated.
