I just spent all day upgrading several sites in a multi-site installation to Drupal 6.16. Now, new articles are not being promoted. Also, if I edit an existing article, it disappears from the front page, too. They do not show up for admins, either. All help/suggestions appreciated.

Additional info:
Upgraded from 6.15 to 6.16. I have 2 main sites and several test sites, etc. The problem is occurring on one of the main sites and one test site, but not on the other main site. Haven't yet tested the other test sites.

The problem was with the weight module. I must have enabled it by mistake when I was re-enabling all of the contrib modules after updating. This may not be an incompatibility - just settings not having been made. At this point, I don't know.
