Hi,
I have installed tinyMCE, image, image_attach, image_assist, image_gallery. I have followed the instructions for drupal_image. The image icon appears under tinyMCE and I am able to upload images. However when I select the "insert" button, the image is created as a new post, and nothing gets inserted into the existing tinymce edits.
Help!
Mike.

Hi!
I have the same problem.
Just to make things
Just to make things clearer...I was expecting that when I insert the image, that it would appear within the tinyMCE window at the cursor position. Nothing gets inserted, but I end up with a completely new post which consists of the image.
Any ideas as to what the problem is?
Did you manage to solve this

Nope
no.

I had been using the large "picture with a plus" icon below the tinyMCE area to try and add pictures. I needed to use the small blue camera icon that appears in the tinyMCE toolbar. This gives the same image assist dialogs, but the insert actually does insert the selected image into the post.
Then go to administer->settings->img_asist->access settings->text area image link and set it to 'do not show a link' to stop people using the wrong icon :)
I hope this solves your problem too.
