Send an email to all users when a node reference in their profile changes

Hi there,

I've created a node called "user account" related to a user profile (User reference) with different other CCK fields. One of the CCK field ("wines") is a Node reference. What I'd like to do is when a field from the "wines" node is updated, notify by email all users who have that particular "wines" reference node in their account.

I was thinking of the rules module, but I can't figure out the set up for this situation. Or maybe there is a better module for that?
