I'm using the Suckerfish Menus with the NewsFlash theme in Drupal 6 and assigning the Primary Links to Suckerfish. When I do that I get the Primary Links in the Suckerfish area but I also get a second set in the heading area that I don't need and don't want. I see now way to get rid of them.

Do I need to turn Primary Links off and build a new menu structure from scratch and assign it to suckerfish? A lot of work at this point. Hoping for something simpler.

Suggestions are welcomed.

You don't need to deal with the Primary or Secondary links to make a Suckerfish menu.

The following method will work:

(1) Create a completely new menu and call it Suckerfish Menu (Add Menu).
(2) Populate the Suckerfish Menu with the links to your pages (Add Item).
(3) Go to the Blocks page and move the Suckerfish Menu under the Suckerfish Menu block section.

That's it.

I have used this method with the NewsFlash theme on a few sites. See the following examples:
