Hey! Hopefully this hasn't been asked already - I couldn't find the solution if it was. I'm getting a weird thing where I'm creating my menu items using views and taxonomy (see below for procedure). My menu (created by Nice Menu) shows the link as being www.mywebsite.com/menu/newpage.html as it should, but am sometimes getting menu/index.php?newpage in the address bar instead once I click on the menu item, and my views display isn't working as a result. It's random, too, one menu item I create will work fine, the next, not so much.

Here's how I'm creating my menu items, if it helps: Taxonomy: add "newpage" as taxonomy term, if not already there. Views: add page, change relevant settings (override taxonomy term ID in argument, override taxonomy term ID in Filters, add page URL "menu/newpage.html"). Menu: go to primary links, add item "newpage.html", set title, set "menu" as parent item. Once menu is saved I double check and yes, the menu item path is set to the correct taxonomy/term/# and matches the URL alias setting.

I just noticed the URL aliases didn't include the "menu/" for my taxonomy terms. Once I manually created the aliases, my links worked. So, narrowing the problem down, the pattern I'm using for automatically creating my aliases for taxonomies, is [vocab-raw]/[catpath-raw].html. I just tried doing a bulk generate - the message at the top said it created the URL, but it didn't, it wasn't listed, so I had to manually create the alias. Just upgraded pathauto so maybe it's not speaking with token?

Am using:
Pathauto: 6.x-2.x-dev (just upgraded, didn't make a difference)
Token: 6.x-1.12
Views: 6.x-2.9 (just upgraded, didn't make a difference)
Nice-menu: 6.x-1.3
Theme: Analytic: 6.x-1.3
Drupal: 6.16

After all this - I'm thinking the whole thing is due to the fact I'm using a DEV version of pathauto. Hopefully this helps them. Can someone move this so the developers see it?
