Patch has functional as well as formatting errors; re-rolled.

Patch in #3 still applies cleanly to master branch.

Is this project still maintained?

It doesn't seem maintained. Im going through all the bugs them at the moment. Also creating a module for remote repositorys. Most obvious bugs are fixed and i have begun with the remote stuff. Ill probably create a sandbox for it soon, until we get a maintainer.
