I've developed a module that allows users to set their availability/location/status which is then displayed on a page with all other users configured to appear there. Basically, it's an intranet style-module that gives a receptionist a page in a Drupal site where he or she can see who's in the office, who's on the road, and who'll be returning later in the day.

The permissions are such that though this is something of intranet-style functionality, it can be used in a public-facing site, with the proper configuration.

I'm wanting to gauge if anyone might be iterested in this project before I go the additional distance and make it ready for public-consumption. It may be the case that this is functionality only desireable for us, given our circumstances, with a main office and lots of consultants in the field...

I would be very much interested in looking at it.

I am working on a website for a candidate and various staff people need to be able to access his schedule in order to be able to schedule his time for speaking engagements, etc.

rjl,

I've privately sent you info on downloading this module.

Due to what appears to be a lack of interest, I don't plan on pursuing adding this officially to the modules repository at this time. If anyone else wants a copy, drop me a line.

p_sahil,

I've not updated the InOut Board module for Drupal 5.x.

You could easily make your own InOut Board using the techniques presented in the Pants module tutorial.
