Got rid of 136288 by adding it to 60116. The FAQ is a good question about location/merging and I can also see that it is weird to applying patch info in more than one section (Contribute code and Help in testing code). Bleh

So, it looks to me like the content in http://drupal.org/node/60116 is actually better, and that the http://drupal.org/patch/faq content would be best integrated into it.

BUT the section http://drupal.org/patch/faq is in is the proper patch section ie. http://drupal.org/patch - so in my opinion ideally all the patch info should be in that section, and a link to it put in the "testing code" section somewhere prominent...

Not exactly a small job, but that is probably what needs to happen.
